Our Places of Impact: Building Trust with Communities and Local Government

Join us for the next event in the Our Places of Impact Community of Practice (CoP) event series. This CoP event aims to provide a virtual space for participants to network with one another and exchange knowledge and best practices with community development practitioners around the theme of collective impact for community-led initiatives. Register today!

This second of four Peer Exchange events is a continuation of the June 2024 CoP event, Facilitating Consensus in Communities. In part two, participants have an opportunity to discuss and reflect on strategies for building trust within their communities and working effectively with local government officials and commissioners. Attendees do not need to attend part one to attend part two. Part one’s recording can be viewed on the Facilitating Consensus in Communities page.

Beginning in June 2024, the CoP transitioned to peer-led skill building and networking events. The new format encourages participants to learn from and share insights with peers. Participants are invited to ask questions and participate in engagement exercises by discussing their own experiences. Learn more about the Our Places of Impact CoP.
